Today was our restful day. It was so nice just to go on a day hike to Spirit Lake (about an hour round trip). We also played frisbee for about an hour, read in the sunshine, napped in the sunshine, and just enjoyed being in the wilderness.
I was reading "Safely Home" by Randy Alcorn-It was amazing! I absolutely loved it! It's about two guys who were roommates at Harvard. One was American who becomes a wealthy businessman and the other is a Chinese guy who basically gave up his career dreams to become a Christian in China. The two roommates meet up again years later and it's about their spiritual journeys. Really cool writing and it's based on a true story, so that part is neat too. Check it out! If you like it, you should also check out Daughter of China. My Aunt Linda gave me that book and my dad the other. Both excellent books
