Hung out with Nichole at The Mall of Abilene. That girl is popular! Everyone knew her at the mall. Looks like I'll have to do that more often to get in the know. ;)

Went to my first speedway tonight with my new life group from church. It was freezing sitting in the cold and wind. I was the only one who brought a blanket, so I became friends with everyone pretty quickly. Haha we also went to dinner at El Fenix before hand and I ran into 3 couples that I know from Highland. My life group was like, "I thought you were new?..." haha I'm just new AGAIN to Abilene.

It may not be that pretty, but water just has a peaceful way about it. I spent a few minutes skipping rocks and freezing my tail off before going back home, but I thought it would be good to destress a bit at the lake after studying every day for 5 weeks straight.

I spent my entire Saturday studying in the kitchen with these two installing a dishwasher and sink. It was quite the entertainment. Just enough to distract me from time to time. So fun watching these two Mr. fix its. They amaze me with their knowledge of how things are engineered. I was completely lost. Glad they didn't seek my help.

I got the pleasure of hanging out with Spiderman and Spidergirl Friday night. Could think of a better place to be. We played make believe and read books and played I spy and prayed for what we were thankful for. Glad I was listed along with grass and juice. I should feel pretty special. Love these kiddos.

Speaking of bad hairdos. James and Katy poofed up Quincey's hair. Katy was also sporting the "tongue-out-I-don't-want-my-picture-taken" look. ;) it was James and Uncle Mike's birthday party with steaks, potatoes, salad, bread, and blueberry banana cream pie-my favorite!

I did an experiment with my hair today. I think I'm getting cabin fever. I'm trying to find more professional hairdos for my new job. Any help? My bangs don't go back in a pony tail, but I have to have my hair out of my face. I tried rollers, curling with a straightener, and mouse, but my hair was like a lion. See for yourself! Haha it's helpless.

So, Lindy and I had a great idea to get our 8th grade-12th grade bible study group together for a reunion! How much fun did we have! It had been 7 years since our last get together! Crazy! It was so fun caching up with these lovely ladies. Instead of highs/lows for the last week, we did highs/lows of the last 7 years. A lot has changed, but I'm glad that they are all strong Christian women. Blessed to be their friends ;)

I was waiting for dad to come home so that we could go pick up Ace from the vet. (My sister's horse had to have eye surgery due to cancer growing under his eyelid ;(...) Anyway, he did great in the surgery and is back home getting topical chemotherapy. While I was standing by the gate, I realized how neat this old gas tank is that has been by that gate for the last 14 years that we have lived here. It still reads 37 1/2 cents per gallon! Haha wow! Add $3 to that now!

Ok, I realize that a lot of my posts have been about my pets. Sorry. That's what happens when I don't leave the house and study 8-10 hours a day. Haha I took this picture because it looked like the dogs were listening intently to my dad tell a story about Lassie or something, but really they were just trying to be annoyingly obedient so that they might get some popcorn haha
