It has been raining since 4 in the morning, so I used my scarf over my hair after church and felt like an old woman. haha :) Isn't it a super cute scarf? My sister gave it to me for my birthday!

I had a cup of coffee and a bagel on the balcony this morning and look who just hopped up 2 stories and balanced on this ledge to come see me? That's right Lucy. Poor thing didn't understand why I wasn't up for cuddling this morning. She really is a sweet cat and I wish I wasn't allergic so I could give her some attention.

We're trying to find used ski apparel for our Christmas trip, so I thought I'd check out the Goodwill here in San Antonio and this is what I found... I think I walked back into 1992.

Well, somehow I got signed up at the church for the church softball league. We had our first practice tonight and our first game in a week from tonight. It was fun playing right field and catching a few flies and hitting a few balls.

I went outside and read and talked to my mom while curled up in a blanket on my balcony. It was just such a lovely evening. I love this little cabin. :)

Malt-O-Meal. I saw it at HEB and had to buy it. Dad used to make it for us growing up and it was so good when he put lumps in it. I made it for Arthur and put syrup in it. :) Brought back some great childhood memories.

I went to HEB tonight and got a free flu shot for work and went shopping and look who my checker was. Pretty cool to have your cousin check you out. I just wish I got some sort of discount haha. :)

365 Blog-Day 216
Cody fell asleep on the couch like this. A few days ago I was on this same couch asleep and rolled over and fell off. Just thought I'd share that. Another funny story...right after I took this picture a little 3 year old girl from their church was over for lunch and came up to Cody and tapped him to tell him something. She didn't know that he was asleep and he thought she was Kelsey messing with him. What happened next none of us could have predicted. Cody turned around so fast to smack "his sister" and accidently slapped the little girl across the face. She just stood there in shock, but obviously not in too much pain. She just walked away slowly and reached her arms up to me. He felt so bad, but was just reacting from a dead sleep. It was quite amusing.

I went to my first band contest today. Cody marches in the La Vernia High School Mighty Bears Band and they won 3rd place at the contest. He plays the baritone. It was quite the experience being at the home of the Unicorns (New Braunsfels). What kind of mascot is a unicorn?! Haha I thought it was hilarious.

As I was getting out of my car today, I thought it would be a good idea to bring my umbrella in case it rained. Then, I forgot it. Of course it rained, so my supervisor made me a make shift poncho out of a laundry bag since I had to walk 15 minutes to my car. I was a sight to see. :)

Arthur and I have both been cooking some.
I made plantains because it is one of my favorite foods and they had never tried it before.

I'd say he's doing the majority of the cooking, but it's kind of fun to cook for a family of 4. :)
